Agriculture science is an applied science.  California State Standards for the sciences are taught using plants and animals as the learning tools.  If students are interested in a different approach to classroom learning, agriculture is for them.

Taking an agriculture class is a requirement for participation in the FFA.  The FFA teaches valuable leadership skills that students can carry with them throughout their lifetime.
