| Key Club is
one of the oldest and largest service programs for high school students. Established in 1925, Key Club exists on almost
5,000 high school campuses. While the major of students involvement is
in the United States, students from Canada, Central and South America,
Asia and Australia have recently begun participation as well.
Key Club International is
organized and run by high school leaders. The organization offers
community service hours and a variety of opportunities to its members
including:
- Leadership
Development
- Vocational Guidance
- College Scholarships
- Service -Learning
- Subscription to the
Keynoter magazine
- Liability Insurance
Coverage
The objects of Key Club
International are
- to develop initiative
and leadership
- to provide experience
in living and working together
- to serve the school
and community
- to cooperate with the
school principal
- to prepare for useful
citizenship
We are affiliated with
Woodland Kiwanis and attend monthly meeting to provide club updates.
In addition, Kiwanis sponsors one third of our cost for Convention.
