Lynn Plocher

Originally from Southern California,  I attended CSU Chico where I meet the love of my life. We have two children, Jared  and Dana. Teaching high school is my second career. While teaching has always been my dream job,  I went into corporate managment after I graduated from college.  I left my management job in 1995 after receiving my Multiple Subject teaching credential from Bethany College in Scotts Valley.  I received my Single Subject credential in Art from CSU Sacramento in 2003. I received my Master of Art in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction in Art Education, Spring 2010. I taught at Woodland HIgh School from 1997 through 2006. Since moving to Pioneer High School in the Fall of 2006, I have been teaching art. My passion is Photography and wheel throwing, but enjoy endulging in many of the fine arts. My greatest reward in teaching is watching students grow through their creative experiences.

"It is through the exploration of art that one has the opportunity to discover who they are..."
