Freshman Seminar and Guitar

Freshman Seminar

This year I am teaching Freshman Seminar and Guitar.  I am very excited about teaching the Freshman Seminar class, it is a great opportunity for the freshman to learn how to become great students at Pioneer, how high school works, and how to raise their grades and pass all their classes.

Guitar

This is my 3rd year of teaching guitar at Pioneer.  This class will teach students the guitar basics and how to read music for the guitar, play chords on the guitar, and play in duets and trios.  There are many different levels of students in this class, it will challenge all levels of abilities.  All students will have to complete the basics, once that is accomplished more advance material will be provided to improve their guitar skills.

Guest Guitar Teacher

This year we will have several guest guitarist.  On Friday we had John Wolfe, a  guitar teacher from Davis, he explain the fundamentals of music as it relates to the guitar and the notes on the guitar and the students played a duet.
