The WJUSD summer school program is designed to give students an additional opportunity to remediate units of US History.

  •  Students initially cover all 20th Century US History standards in their regular class.

  •  Following the Academic Support Class, non-remediated units are offered during summer school.

  • Students who fail to meet proficiency in an US History A.P. course may take summer school to complete their units, but they will not receive credit for completion of US History A.P., instead they will receive credit for 20th Century US History.

  • The summer school 20th Century US History class will now be an extension of the regular semester. The amount of work a student needs to complete will be based on his/her final semester grade.
