  Attendance

 

  
 
  Due to the limited hours of summer school, a high level of attendance is required. A student who misses more than three (3) class periods will be dropped from the course and will receive no credit. If a student misses more than 30 minutes of class time they will be considered absent for that period. There are NO excused absences during Summer School  Students who are in the Counseling Office on the first day of school to sign up for courses will be marked absent for the time they are not in class.    
     
 

Tardies
     
 
  Students who are not in their assigned classroom and prepared for class before the tardy bell rings are tardy. Furthermore, at any time during the duration of a class period students who miss up to 30 minutes of instruction without the permission of their teacher will be assigned a tardy for that period. For Summer School, two tardies will be counted as one class absence and will be applied to the student's overall class attendance record. There are NO excused tardies during Summer School.
