TEACHERS AND SCHOOLS STAFF: We understand the importance of creating a rigorous, supportive academic environment, that meets the needs of our students and community. Therefore, we will carry out the following responsibilities to the best of our abilities:
● Create a safe space for our students.
● Encourage and model to our students what it means to “Lead the Way.”
● Support students by giving them access to resources to meet their academic and social emotional needs.
● Maintain high expectations for all of our students, while supporting students to meet those expectations.
● Provide timely feedback to our students.
● Communicate with parents strengths or areas of concern.
STUDENTS: We understand the rights of our education, and the needs for us to be our own agents of change to become part of our own academic trajectory. Therefore, we will carry out the following responsibilities to the best of our abilities:
● On time daily attendance to optimize learning.
● Always model what it means to be safe, responsible and respectful.
● Be active participants in learning, and ask questions as needed.
● Get help when needed using the school’s many resources.
● Advocate for needs, to ensure academic growth.
● Be accountable for your own choices, and behavior.
● Be reflective of your actions.
● Complete all classwork, homework and tests with integrity and fidelity.
PARENTS: We understand that one of the biggest predictors in our students’ success is partnering with the school. Therefore, we will carry out the following responsibilities to the best of our abilities:
● Communicate needs or concerns with teachers/staff.
● Support students’ on time daily attendance.
● Actively monitor student achievement and attendance through our AERIES parent portal.
● Monitor and guide students in the use of technology including social media.
● Report absences/tardies to the attendance office.
● Encourage our students to implement self care including sleep.
● Encourage our students to make good choices, and reflect on the impact of their choices to the educational environment.
● Participate in school activities, and be present to ensure you are receiving first hand information.
● Always, ask any questions early to ensure you are receiving accurate information and concerns are alleviated.

● Supervisar activamente el rendimiento y la asistencia de los estudiantes a través de nuestro portal para padres AERIES.
● Monitorear y guiar a los estudiantes en el uso de la tecnología, incluidas las redes sociales.
● Informar las ausencias / tardanzas a la oficina de asistencia.
● Animar a nuestros estudiantes a implementar el cuidado personal, incluyendo el sueño.
● Animar a nuestros estudiantes a tomar buenas decisiones y reflexionar sobre el impacto de sus decisiones en el entorno educativo.
● Participar en las actividades escolares y estar presente para asegurarse de recibir información de primera mano.
